Welcome to the July issue of The Business Zeitgeist Newsletter.
Eric Lam reported in the, Financial Post (Monday, Jul. 12, 2010) "Buoyed by increased 12-month sales growth for the first time in two years, Canadian businesses are set to hire more workers and invest in new machinery to meet rising demand pressure, the Bank of Canada said Monday in its summer business outlook survey."
He went on to say: "Expectations for sales are positive, with 53% of businesses looking forward to greater growth in the coming year compared with 29% forecasting less growth."
This is great news; however, how are you poised to take advantage of this? Organizations must communicate the message that they have the goods/services of choice. Is your organization poised for an increase in sales? If some support is required to handle the anticipated increase, contact Doug Cranston of EnPower Group. Doug has helped many organizations reduce their Process Transaction Cycle Time from 50 to 90%. Doug can be reached at 416-949-4850.
On the topic of growth, and the resources that will be required, Robert Half Management Resources is the world's premier provider of senior-level accounting and finance professionals to supplement companies' project and interim staffing needs. Disaster Recovery is about recovering from a disaster and loss of IT could be a disaster, but there are numerous disasters that can bring down the business that have nothing to do with IT.
